Frequently asked questions
What is Block or Not?
A free "who knows me better?" friendship quiz. You answer 10 questions about yourself, share the link, and your friends try to guess your answers. The scoreboard shows who knows you best, and anyone who scores very low gets a playful BLOCKED stamp.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email or password. Your quiz is stored inside its own link, so whoever has the link can play.
How many questions are there?
Every quiz has 10 questions with 4 answers each. You can swap any question for another one, or write your own question and answers.
Which languages are supported?
15 languages, including English, Roman Urdu, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. Each player can choose their own language from the menu at the top of the page. Built-in questions are translated automatically, while questions you write yourself appear exactly as you typed them.
How do I see my friends' scores?
Open the home page on the phone or computer you used to make the quiz. Your quizzes are listed there: tap one to see its scoreboard.
A friend's score didn't show up. What now?
Sometimes a score can't reach the scoreboard, for example on a weak connection. Your friend can tap Copy score on their result screen and send you the code. Paste it in the box under your scoreboard and tap Add.
Can I change my answers after sharing?
The link contains your answers, so changing them means making a new quiz with a new link. Just make another one and share the new link.
What does "BLOCKED" mean? Will it actually block someone?
No. It is only a joke stamp shown on the result screen. Nobody is blocked on any app, and nothing happens to anyone's account.
Is it free?
Yes, completely. The site is supported by ads, which is how we keep it free.
What data do you collect?
Very little. To show the scoreboard we store each player's chosen name, avatar and score. We don't ask for emails or phone numbers. We use anonymous visitor statistics and ads, which use cookies. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can I remove my name from someone's scoreboard?
Yes. Send us the quiz link and the name you used through our contact page, and we will remove it.
Is it safe for kids?
The quiz is light-hearted and contains no adult content, but it is designed for teens and adults. Younger children should play with a parent.
